The purpose of this study is to assess the significance of epidemiologic surveillance of hemoglobinopathy. During the last 5 years, 3,918 newborns have been systematically screened for hemoglobinopathies. The screening of blood samples has been performed with the isoelectrofocusing method using erythrocyte membranes. The results of the investigation show that the prevalence of hemoglobinopathy is 0.87%. This study also points out the interest of epidemiologic surveillance of hemoglobinopathy: systematic survey of the newborn population in a defined area is an efficient way to record its frequency in order to give information to physicians, educational institutions and health services.Q:
Adding a button to a gridview in C#
I'm trying to add a button to the first column of a gridview, but the button is invisible to the users. I know I can add the button in code, but I was wondering if there is a way I could add it through the aspx file. Here is what I have: 01e38acffe

Category:Metal detecting *D. suzukii* larvae ([@bibr01]). In particular, when *D. suzukii* was reared on apples, it entered winter diapause, molting, and feeding behavior, where it produced fewer frass droplets and consequently lower nutritional levels. In addition, its weight and size decreased. Previous studies have reported that autumn and winter diapause can maintain life of *D. suzukii* larvae ([@bibr03]). Our results were in accordance with [@bibr03], and to our knowledge, this is the first report of *D. suzukii* entering diapause on apples, where it becomes more resistant to food stress.
We found that the contents of amino acids in *D. suzukii* were significantly higher than those in its host, *P. spinolae*, which is a common pest of apples. It is possible that the amino acids in *D. suzukii* accumulate in response to starvation. This phenomenon has been documented in some insects, including the flesh fly, *Sarcophaga bullata* (Costa), and the tobacco budworm, *Heliothis virescens* (Fabricius), where amino acids are mobilized from storage tissues during periods of starvation ([@bibr11]). Since the amino acid levels in insects vary with feeding or food stress conditions, it is difficult to discuss the relationship between the amino acid levels and diapause in *D. suzukii*. However, it is possible that the lower nutritional levels in this insect may induce the increase of amino acids in the body.
The previous studies on the effects of diapause on the oviposition behaviors of *D. suzukii* revealed that the fecundity and mating behavior of diapausing females are unaffected ([@bibr02]; [@bibr06]). Nevertheless, to date, no information has been published on the mating behavior and egg-laying activity of *D. suzukii* larvae and adults under diapause. The present study demonstrates that *D. suzukii* adults are able to mate and lay eggs regardless of diapause condition, while adults of the spring form enter diapause and larvae are in winter diapause. These results suggest that *D. suzukii* adults
